What this is about
These terms apply to the use of the website blue-ice-cave-iceland.com. Blue Ice Cave Iceland is an independent guide to visiting the natural ice caves of Iceland, above all the caves that form each winter in Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull near the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. We do not sell trips or tours ourselves, and we are not a tour operator or a glacier guide.
Who sells your tour
If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the GetYourGuide website with GetYourGuide or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.
Prices and availability
Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide before booking are binding.
Ice Caves, Weather and Glacier Conditions
A natural ice cave is part of a moving glacier. It forms, changes and disappears with the seasons, so no one can promise a particular cave, its size or its colour, or that a cave can be entered on a given day. Storms, rain, thaw and road conditions can change or cancel a tour at short notice. Whether a tour offers a refund or another date when the operator cancels is set solely by the terms of the respective offer. Our information on seasons, safety, the glaciers and the climate is based on the sources we cite on each page. It does not replace the operator's current information or the instructions of your glacier guide.
